Having watched GUV's recent speedrun (full of crazy tricks!) I decided to revisit this encounter and this is my new PB. Down from 2:06 or 1:48 if we count the previous glitched run. Since then I learnt how to exploit that glitch reliably, so 1:37 is the new Crushing Fast time for this encounter. The key is to skip all trigger planes in sequence (extra merc up top, floor collapse, river crossing spawn, and APC crushing through the walls). This allows Chloe to simply rush to the exit, with nothing but the APC shooting from the distance. There is an invisible wall on top of the tower before the last jump but thankfully not on the sides, which makes it possible to jump across, trigger the doors once and wait for Ms Ross to catch up (staying safe from the stupid APC). Enjoy. SKIPS IN DETAIL: Skip extra merc spawn by breaking stealth when the scripted section starts; Skip next load trigger by jumping past the collapsing floor (this one requires tight moves to jump right past the boulder on the right without touching it); Skip river crossing spawn by avoiding the trigger plane (happens consistently if you jump from the right side of the bridge and grapple mid-air, this one is not hard but apparently depends on the previous skip); Skip the scripted APC section by passing around the column on the wrong side (thanks GUV for this trick). This one took me a while to master, but the secret here is that there is an invisible walkable plane that extends a good meter or so outside the gallery -- so all you need to do to get there is jump onto the side wall, step left a bit (left stick) and then jump straight in the original direction. Chloe can pretty much walk on thin air there, you don't have to land on any of the visible parts. GUV also uses L2 here to control the jumps but I found it is not necessary with my technique. Finally, there is a way to go completely out of bounds (which is what GUV does in the full speedrun) but I have yet to master that -- there is plenty of walking involved but it might still be faster.
