Pinnacle Pursuit is the Boltdog Robotics submission to the 2025 Game Design Challenge. In Pinnacle Pursuit, teams compete to stack as many cones on goals as possible. They must then climb higher than their opponents to show that they are the pinnacle of Vex Robotics. The game field contains: 72 x Vex "In the Zone" cones 6 x Vex "In the Zone" mobile goals (two red, two blue, and two painted purple) 8 x Vex "Turning Point" platform elbow connectors 8 x Vex "Turning Point" platform pipes 5 x Vex "Turning Point" plexiglass sheets 4 x Vex "Turning Point" platform mounting posts 12 x Vex "Skyrise" wall posts 12 x custom 3d printed elbow connectors - $2.15 each 30 x 5/8" Vex bolts - $0.0719 each 8 x 1.5" Vex bolts - $0.124 each 4 x 3/8" Vex bolts - $0.0619 each 28 x 1" Vex bolts - $0.0859 each 4x 1/2: Vex standoffs - $0.359 each 46 x Vex Low Profile Locking Nuts - $.0569 each Also used in the field construction are: 3 x Rolls of electrical tape (one red, one blue, and one white) - $3.16 each 1 x Can, Purple Spray Paint - $7.99 each The total cost of the field is $53.13.
