Despite its adverse salvage circumstances in May 1934, the skeleton of the shaman of Bad Dürrenberg is in remarkably good and almost complete condition. In addition, modern re-excavations by the State Office for Heritage Management and Archaeology Saxony-Anhalt at the site yielded further important finds that completed the mortal remains of this important woman.
