In 2019 Rebecca Ann combs introduced the concept of embellishing beaded kumihimo by using Demis as the attachment points and sewing beads to the surface of the braid. This technique is extremely useful and is featured in many of Rebecca's designs: Opening Night, Prestige Collar, Shared Path, and Diamondback. In this video, Rebecca walks you through how to anchor the embellishment thread to the braid by tying it to one of the braid cords. She'll also demonstrate how to end the embellishment thread with half-hitch knots.
