We stayed at "Kappo no Yado Imai Igarashi-tei Yui" in Tsukioka Onsen, Niigata Prefecture in early March of 2024. Kappo Inn Imai is a pure Japanese-style auberge with a relaxed atmosphere located on the hillside of Tsukioka Onsen, famous for its “Bijin no yu” hot spring, and is highly acclaimed for its cuisine. Using fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan and carefully selected seasonal local ingredients from Niigata, the chefs take time and effort to prepare each dish, making it beautiful to the eye and delicious to the palate. Here, you can enjoy the large bath and open-air bath to your heart's content in a natural hot spring with sulfur-rich spring water that is effective for beautiful skin. We were able to relax both mentally and physically in the quiet and atmospheric guest room with a view of the garden. We enjoyed a relaxing and luxurious time with delicious seasonal cuisine, natural hot spring baths rich in benefits, rooms with a serene atmosphere with a view of a Japanese garden, and warm hospitality with a family-like atmosphere.
