Witness pins prime suspect Muhammad Sebuwufu in Pine car bond murder

The murder trial of Pine car bond proprietor Muhammad Sebuufu is under way before the High court's criminal division. Ssebuufu and seven other people are accused of kidnapping and torturing a businesswoman Donah Betty Katusabe to death, over her failure to pay a 9 million shillings debt, which was the balance of a car purchase she had made from Pine bond.The first prosecution witness Peter Tumusiime a legal assistant from Tumwebaze, Atugonza and Kobusingye advocates informed court that he reached the crime scene and saw Sebuufu kicking and boxing the late Donah on the breasts and in her private parts. Tumwebaze testified that on the fateful day 21st/October 2015, he was instructed by his boss Annet Kobusingye to follow up the kidnap of Katusabe who was one of their clients. Tumusiime said he called Katusabe who told him she had been kidnapped by Sebuufu and had been locked up in a room at the bond in Kampala. He said that when he reached Pine bond Sebuufu led him to Katusabe, telling him that if she did not clear the debt she would be dead by the end of the day.
