What do we earn from our Sailing YouTube channel? What the heck is YouTube monetization all about? Isn't every YouTube channel monetized? The answer, surprisingly to some, is no. YouTube requires channels to have 1,000 subsribers and 4,000 watch hours (within the last 12 months) to qualify for the YouTube Partner Program. It took us a little over 4 months of consistent posting to hit the magical 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours that YouTube requires to monetize your channel.
