Hi, this is my another piano cover for the next song - Chapter II in Estatic Fear's wonderful album A Sombre Dance, continuing the story of Beauty and the Beast. Like I mentioned in Chapter I, I think the best thing to tell the backstory of this album should be Beauty and the Beast film from Disney (1991). Chapter I is the opening for the two main characters, Beauty and the Beast, reflects the beautiful contrasts of their personalities, at the same time so many things are in common. Two different people but actually one. Chapter II is when they start to meet and collide, like fire and ice. Mostly it's the words of the beast. The gentleness and innocence of the human towards the Beast is just like a disgrace to him, tramples on his ego, which also had been cursed. He is angry, almost for the reasons that may be only he knows/feels it. He wants to destroy this delightful emotional turmoil but at the same time, scared and wants to run away. However, most of all, he wants to break free from the curse, get rid of his painful ego chain, to "touch these fairy eyes instead". (These are all my own interpretation and how I feel about the song/album, though it might not be true or like the original idea of the composers.)
