Bringing specific pranayama tools into asana practice weaves together to create a powerfully medicinal practice. In this session, I am integrating the 3-part inhalation, Dirga Pranayama, with lateral side bending practices including trikonasana, triangle pose. Many people think of triangle pose as being a stretch for their hips and legs. (It can be!) Yet, it has potent opportunities for lung expansion and thoracic rotation and flexibility too.
