This week on CCLemon99.com I review all seven of the CDs from Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger! This includes the 5-Disc Box Set, the Theme Song CD Single, and a special promotional Drama CD. Check it out here: http://www.cclemon99.com/2016/10/the-... -------------------- Welcome to my review of Pladera CV-02 Interceptor [CV-02インターセプター] from Blue SWAT [ブルースワット]! You might remember last week when I took a look at Sara's Interceptor [] that it was a neat little set that contained a cool figure and a good amount of fire power. Without even seeing this video, you can probably guess that this set is more of the same. Well...you're right. BUT...that was the name of the game in the 90s. Budgets at Bandai and in the family household might have been good enough to make owning essentially the same toy over and over again (think Sentai...) a better reality than today. So today might be like a small return to only one week ago...but do you really expect me not to review the whole set? This set includes Sig's CV-02 Interceptor, Sig himself, the Dictator, and the Plugloader. The Plugloader is a little more functional here in that it can either mount onto the windshield or it can be stored in the equipment box that locks onto the back of the seat. If you really wanted to, you could store the Dictator in the box, but this would require changing the decal over to "1" rather than "2". Like I mentioned above, this set is virtually the same as Sara's Interceptor set. The accents on the bike are yellow instead of red and Sig's armor is gunmetal/black instead of Sara's purple. So...basically all of the pros and cons apply to this set. Even though I like these sets a lot, I kinda wish there was a little bit more to differentiate them. I don't exactly know what that could be, but they could've given some kind of incentive to own both of them. This is week three of Blue SWAT Month. I am done with Pladera toys...the next two reviews I'll be pulling out the big guns. Stay tuned for Combat Cloth Gold Platinum and Combat Cloth Hyper Sho! Be sure to check out my site, CCLemon99.com. Twice monthly I review shows, movies, Tokusatsu CDs, and occasionally make Top 7 lists of the best and worst of Tokusatsu.
