Rare CSX Locomotive DPU, Speeding Trains, Running After CSX & Norfolk Southern Trains & RR Radio

Huge CSX Train With Special Locomotive As Mid Train DPU At The Best Railroad Crossing In Walton, Kentucky! Norfolk Southern Over Powered Train Roaring Past On Tight Curve. CSX Auto Racks At The Maintenance Of Way Facility & Literally Running After Trains In Walton, Kentucky. Includes Railroad Radio & Audio From Defect Detectors. First, we see a Big CSX train with a DPU increasing speed at the Main Street railroad crossing in Walton, Kentucky. See the maps in the video. This train had the CSX "We Are One" locomotive being used as a DPU. I got a great shot of it in perfect sun light. The rains have stopped for a while. We also see my radio after the train passes. The audio comes from the defect detector near me and gives the total number of axles and length of train in feet. The length will vary between detectors depending on how much the train is stretched out and the type of rail cars. It usually varies between 25 to 100 feet. Then I went across the road in the main part of town to check out the old buildings when another CSX southbound train came. I ran across the road to the CSX maintenance of way office area to catch that train. This train is an auto racks train going to Louisville, Ky. The defect detector here measured it at only 25 feet longer than the one in LaGrange. Right after the CSX auto racks train passed, a Norfolk Southern train with DPU came flying through town on the other side of the road. I tried to run over there but the trees were blocking the view. I managed to film the DPU smoking while working hard on the rear of the train. Then I moved a couple crossings north and got a speeding NS intermodal train. Look how fast this train is booking! It's coming around the curve with 4 locomotives and over a hundred containers. It was a good walk to get this one so I hope it looks pretty cool. Next, we go a short way down the tracks and on the other side to catch a loaded grain train speeding past the railroad crossing. I heard this train approaching on 160.950 while the CSX trains use 161.370 and I also use 452.9375 for the EOT. Back in the 90s the EOT frequency was 161.1125. After that we see a set of CSX power running lite. This was the power that took L411 cars to Worthville, Kentucky a few hours earlier. Those cars were spotted on the spur that goes to Ghent, Ky. I went back to the centre of town to check out the war memorial and a nice looking truck for sale. At first I looked at the wrong numbers for the price and thought it was a good deal LOL. While I was on that side of the road, once again a Norfolk Southern train came speeding through. I ran over and by the time I got my camera on I almost missed the train. I guess it came out okay. We also see the new puppy that the kids got. It's a little poodle. She just got her shots and all the stuff that the vet does. Don't forget the slide show and I include a small clip of a CSX train that passed through minutes after a young railfan left. That happens to all of us.
