Week 4 update

We’ve officially reached the halfway point of the session, and the pace is only picking up from here. As chair of the Transportation Appropriations Committee, we’ve completed our budget recommendations and forwarded them to leadership. One exciting possibility for our region is the potential expansion of I-15 between Payson and Santaquin, which would benefit drivers across the state. I’m also pleased to see progress on preserving the Goshen Bay Waterfowl Management Area, protecting open space and outdoor recreation as our communities grow. I continue to spend a lot of time listening to stakeholders and constituents to make sure we get policy right, and I appreciate everyone who has reached out.
