Abrams M1A2 System Enhancement Packages (SEPs) Main Battle Tank (MBT) and Trophy Active Protection System (APS). The M1A2 SEP was introduced in Update "Fire and Ice". Compared to its "younger brother," the M1A2 Abrams, it receives a second-generation thermal sight and the option to install the "TUSK" (Tank Urban Survival Kit), which enhances the vehicle's side protection using "ARAT" explosive reactive armor blocks. Thanks to these improvements, playing with the tank becomes much more comfortable than with earlier "standard" variants of the Abrams. On the battlefield, the M1A2 SEP is a versatile tank that performs well in both active, aggressive gameplay and defensive engagements. Additional reactive armor blocks further improve its already good survivability, and the higher-quality thermal imager makes it easier to detect opponents at a distance and in poor weather conditions. However, key protection issues inherited from previous generations of the tank have not been resolved—the tank's hull remains a vulnerable spot even to earlier APFSDS rounds, forcing players to hide it behind terrain features.
