SEEN UP TO TERMINAL ILEUM: Multiple columns of haemorrhoids are seen at the anal canal. Multiple polyps are seen at the rectosigmoid junction and sigmoid colon. All the polyps are removed by diathermy snare. One of the polyps at the rectosigmoid junction is large and long pedicle which is ligated with Endo Loop Applicator and removed by diathermy snare by piece meal fashion. The mucosa, vascular pattern and the lumen of the rest of the colon and caecum including terminal ileum appeared healthy. Appendicular orifice is depressed, open and healthy. lleo-caecal valve is labial type and healthy. BIOPSY: Resected polyps are sent for histopathology. COMMENTS: 1. Haemorrhoids 2. Rectosigmoid polyps THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION: Colonoscopic polypectomy done.
