Psalm 32 • David celebrates the joy of forgiveness • Confession brings healing and protection • God surrounds the repentant with songs of deliverance • “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven…” Theme: Forgiveness is freedom — and God is faithful to restore the humble. Mark 8 • Jesus feeds 4,000 — compassion meets hunger • Pharisees demand a sign — Jesus warns against spiritual blindness • A blind man is healed in stages — revelation often comes progressively God might need to change our environment before he changes our situation. • Peter declares Jesus is the Messiah • Jesus predicts His death and calls for radical discipleship: “Whoever desires to save his life will lose it…” Theme: Jesus is the Messiah — and following Him means surrender, not comfort.
