I hear of the branch line back in 2015 when it had been reopened! Great the opportunity to see the Mountsorrel Railway Museum and get there on a Top & Tail Austerity made the day even more memorable! It was like travelling on a S.L.S Special! I also had to ride on there’s Ruston & Hornsby LBT Series, 85049 “Malcolm” which was great fun for a three time round trip! I was great to see 9F “92134” on a manual train passing the Quorn. Had an opportunity to see Class 35 “Hymek”, D7018 in the action but it look like it was pulled from service. Overall, a great opportunity to travel the Mountsorrel Branch and see a 9F Manual Train. Thank you Great Central! Looking forward to the Spring Diesel Gala!
