▶️Sifu Brian shows in a movie trailer Wingchun in action against armed and unarmed opponents. rescuing a pretty chinese girl from gangsters! ➡️Here I demonstrate with some of my students what attacks you might can defeat with Wingchun combined with solid ground and weapon skills. These were two fantastic days shooting in Shanghai in 2013 and many thanks to all my dedicated students, for they hard work and especially Katherina who played our victim! Also special thanks to Erik Martens who been the director and producer of that great clip. ➡️Sifu Brian is an expert in various martial arts. He began his journey with the age of 13 in Jiu-jutsu. After three more years he added Muay-Thai boxing to his experience. Practicing and participating in countless official and kinda fightclub-underground competitions gave him plenty of experience in fighting. And by being living in more then 8 countries he could gain significantly experience in street-fights and night clubs, since partying been a passion for him as well ;) Training these two martial arts for around 16 years he decided to enrich his knowledge with the most effective self defence system in the world( if trained right) called 🀄️ WINGCHUN. But in order to apply this fantastic system, he started to compete in MMA matches in various gyms around the world. The aim was to see, what principles and techniques from 🀄️WINGCHUN can be applied in combat fighting, since MMA has rules and the most vital points like groins, eyes, neck, back....cannot be attacked. So, here we apply, less is more. Principles instead a huge bunch of techniques. Now in 2020 he can look back to more than 30 years of Martial Arts and came to one very important conclusion! 💯FIRST LEARN FIGHTING, THEN APPLY YOUR STYLE !!! ➡️My mission here is to show the Martial arts world, that Wingchun can be applied in Combat sports, but first you have to understand their rules and see, what you can still apply and adapt to their system to a certain extend! And in most combat sports the opponent is moving very fast and are highly skilled. That makes it so much harder to apply your own style ! 🎥And for all Cinema fans and dreamers ..All Ip-Man movies are great but far from reality in realistic applications!
