I promised you, my subscribers that I would film this moment and here it is. Welcome to another sad day for aviation as Air New Zealand's last 747 departs for it's last time in Air NZ colours. This queen of the skies however will still be flying after she heads the Roswell as she is being sold to a leasing company and might possibly be stored until she is needed. ZK-NBV came into the Air NZ family in 31 October of 1998 and served until 12 September 2014 when it arrived at Auckland International Airport on it's last flight from San Francisco. From then she has been stripped and sold and now she saying goodbye to her 16 year old home for the last time ever.
