I realize that none of my clothing is from anywhere near the Victorian era, and now I know that that limewater isn't actually LIME WATER lol (I blame that one on the fact that I filmed this video when I was sick...) Hello friends! Since I just finished my Victorian bedroom makeover, so many of you have been requesting a Victorian morning routine video! This was so much fun to film, but it also opened my eyes so much and gave me just a small glimpse into how life was back in the Victorian period. Also please go check out @Ruby Granger (if you don't already watch her videos, you're truly missing out, and are you even really on youtube if you don't watch her?💕) She is the first person that I've seen do a Victorian morning routine and it very much inspired me! ✨ Link to Ruby's Victorian Morning Routine:    • I followed a Victorian Morning Routine   I bought the Victorian wash stand + bowl and pitcher specifically for this video and I got it from Facebook marketplace. Everything else I already had :) Doing research for this video, I couldn't find much info about the details of daily life in the Victorian period until I found Ruth Goodman's book called, 'How To Be a Victorian.' This book is AMAZING! If you're at all interested in this time period, I highly recommend you check out her book. I sat down and read 60 pages just in my first sitting. While researching for this video I also learned a lot about the typical Victorian evening routines. Is that a future video you would be interested in? Or should I do an Edwardian themed video next time? Either way, I really hope you enjoy this one! *Disclaimer, I know that I very much romanticized this time period in this video. A morning routine for 75% of Victorians (working class) would definitely look different from the routine I followed.
