Pedal Scopic Sounds EPISODE 12: Mantic Concepts Pendulum (Effect used on Guitar, Bass, & Vocals) For this episode, the brilliant machine in question is the Mantic Concepts Pendulum. From traditional utility functions such as noise gate and crossfading, to wild envelope controlled swells, rhythmic pulses, momentary blasts, and highly tweakable tremolo, it's really a machine that can take your pedal arsenal into brand new territories. This video was a unique challenge, simply because this pedal can do so much, and that's without touching the MIDI capabilities. On paper, this is a utility pedal, but that doesn't really do justice to what this machine is. It brings entirely new dynamics to your board whilst hardly taking up any space. You want fuzz with trails? Done. You want to bounce between ring mod and auto filter. Go nuts. You want to have 10 pedals ready to go on a momentary switch? Easy. The list of cool things I've stumbled across goes on and on, and I'm expecting to keep finding new sounds for a long time to come.
