One of two Kim Baker built Corvettes, car #4 and #5 in matching yellow and black livery dominated the 1987 SCCA Escort Endurance Championship. These cars would ultimately become the prototype vehicles that would establish the Corvette Challenge Race Series. In addition to #5 being a critical car in the team championship, #5 was driven by Shawn Hendricks and Mitch Wright and is also credited with the 24 Hour Mosport victory critical to the 1987 season championship win. Fully restored by Kim Baker while under the ownership of Corvette expert Mike Yeager, this legendary and important race car is fresh out of the National Corvette Museum eager to once again hit the race track.
