Eid Mubarak! Hijabs are modest head/hair covering worn by women of certain cultures and religious affiliations. Other women have come to appreciate its fashionable look and have adopted the style for themselves. This one was crafted in 3 main parts for an adult female. Stitches used: 🧶 Single crochet 🧶 Houndstooth 🧶 Fan 🧶Part 1: The Crown: We worked a pear shape with a loop. 🧶Part 2: We worked down the main body in Houndstooth stitches increasing evenly to obtain a cone-like tube (one end of the tube is the width of the head while the other end of the tube is the width of the shoulder or wider) 🧶 Part 3: Edge The Rim: We worked she'll stitches to edge the rim. Measurements required to work this hat are: ✔️Width of head ✔️Height of hijab ✔️ Width around shoulder or wider Beginner friendly design. Intermediate and Advanced Crochet skill levels can totally nail this. Note that this same technique can be replicated for any size just by adjusting the measurements.
