I have played this fantastic song from the Alan Parsons Project during my time as solo entertainer (keyboard plus vocal) on every single gig. This version is actually based on a midifile that I've bought as playback in order to come close to the original. I made some adaptation within the file to make it fit to my Korg PA3X entertainer keyboard. So the whole music you hear comes directly from the stereo out plugs of the key. The great E-piano sound which I have played live along with the background track is also from the PA3X. The vocals have been recorded in a second step with Cubase along with the harmony voices in the refrain. Even though the song sounds not very complicated at the first glimpse, the vocals are a big challange at least for me due to the big vocal range. I had to transpose it down by 5 semi-tones to be able to hit the high notes. As a consequence the corus is also a bit low for me....Nevertheless I like this version even if I have to admit that it is not perfect. I hope you like it. The original music is as said from the The Alan Parsons Project's 6th studio album with the same name. I don't have any rights on this song.
