Each option has its place in DIY lawn care and I hope that this video and the others linked below help you get the job(s) done in your lawn this coming season. The electric power rake I use currently is the Von Haus unit which I bought on Amazon a while back. Unfortunately, it has been since discontinued although many really nice cordless options are available these days. For core aeration advise renting a machine from a local equipment rental shop or hiring the job out to a local yard care company.
