The Dead Tongues is a musical and writing project of Asheville North Carolina based artist Ryan Gustafson. The music has depth, often wading through powerful refections that build to create a layered, melodic sound. In their latest release, Pawnshop Dollar Bills, Ryan rediscovers his electric guitar, finding themes of renewal and rebirth. This set is presented by Hopscotch Music Fest and WUNC Music and was filmed at Nash Hall. Window Music is a webseries by Myriad where musicians perform in Downtown Raleigh. Window Music’s mission is to highlight Raleigh as a music hub. Alongside the thriving local scene, we attract the best of the best with our world class festivals and music venues.
