NCAA Sport Science Institute Spotlight: Cannabinoids- Harm Reduction Strategies

The second session in the SSI Spotlight on Cannabinoids will continue the conversation on outcomes from the Summit on Cannabis in Collegiate Athletics with a focus on harm reduction implementation strategy statements to prevent, identify and manage problematic cannabis use. Experts will discuss prevention strategies including stakeholder education and resources, validated screening tools to identify problematic cannabis use, cannabis use and mental health and additional resources for campuses to continue their education on the topic. Featured panelists: Jason Kilmer is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington. Nadine Mastroleo is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Binghamton University.
