Then it’s time to meet some cheeky residents as we climb Monkey Hill (Khao Chong Krachok) to visit the mountaintop temple—complete with panoramic views and plenty of mischievous monkeys along the way. Later, we hop on bikes and ride through Wing 5 military base (yes, it’s open to the public!) to reach the stunning Ao Manao Beach, a quiet stretch of sand with calm waters and a fascinating history. This beach is part of a Royal Thai Air Force base, but don’t worry—it's super visitor-friendly and beautifully kept. From peaceful seaside moments to monkey mischief and local discoveries, Prachuap surprised us in the best way.
