How to Create a Promotion / Discount on NRS POS (Point of Sale) System

For example, a special price if you buy two- the way to do this is to tap on the promotions tile underneath users. The first step will be to tap the green button that says new promotion. Now let’s say for the argument’s sake of this example, we want to do a promotion on Poland Spring, so I will call the promotion name, and I will type it here “Poland Spring”. Okay, so the next step after giving the promotional name is to give it a starting date. By default, the system automatically is set to start the promotion on the next day, so I need to change this date to today’s date by opening the calendar and clicking on today’s date. Now, valid too, I can leave that blank or I can choose a specific date I want it to end. If I want the promotion to run every single day and never stop, I would leave this field blank, and the promotion will run indefinitely. So now, we have two types: we have a new price or a cents off. A Cents off is just a flat rate discount, a certain amount or price that is off or a discounted price where if you buy six this is the price for the total. So we’re going to do a new price, and we’re going to say for the Poland Spring we want to do two for two dollars, so we enter two for two dollars and must buy the quantity we want to tap this from no to yes and then the next step will be to take the product we want to be in the promotion and to scan it. So I scan the product, I see it show up and then on the left side, so now I want to actually tap where it’s highlighted in blue and turn it green so that it shows up on the right side. This is the image of everything when it’s perfectly complete and you’re ready to save. If any of this is not done the promotion will not say it correctly so we tap ok to save the promotion and now I mean instead of clicking all, I’m going to go to my active promotions and there’s my promotion that I just created starting on five eleven with no ending date. So now if I want to see how this works I’ll go back to home, I’ll open my register, I’m gonna start by scanning the product once so we could see one sells for a dollar twenty-five. If I scan it again, we’ll see it makes a $0.50 adjustment and tells me that the promotion is $2.00. Now if I were to scan a third one it’ll be a dollar twenty-five but if I do 1/4, it would be like two promotions and it would apply the discount again.
