If you are planning a trip to Kolkata and have any questions, put them into the comments section and I will respond to you 🙂. Being a vegetarian we were skeptical about planning for Kolkata but Kolkata has proved us wrong. Kolkata has so many options for vegetarians, you just step out and you will find thousands of food options on the street itself. In this video, we have gone out to some places and tried some dishes only after doing our research. So you can safely try the foods/places we have touched upon. ▬▬▬ If you need our Travel related services please fill out the below form: ► https://forms.gle/jCwH4cCSJ84KHams9 ▬▬▬ ► Buy Travel Insurance: https://bit.ly/3O96VWv ► Buy Health Insurance: https://bit.ly/41VEGjT Below is the list of the places/food items we have had in Kolkata: We started our day around 6 AM and went to Dakshineshwar temple (Kali temple - beautifully built and maintained amazingly well) and after that, we went to Belur Math founded by Swami Vivekanand Ji. You can go to Belur math by using a ferry as well from Dakshineshwar temple. After that our Kolkata veg street food walk started: 1. Maya Ram Pao bhaji - Near Park Street 2. Try roadside Jhalmuri 3. Ganguram serves you The Best Mishti Doi, we also tried Alu Dom and Kachori there, then we headed for 4. Balwant Singh's famous Doodh Kola, the quantity you get is close to a liter in 180 Rs. Then we went to 5. College street, if you are a book lover you will go crazy there. We also took a ride in hath rickshaw and then went to 6. Indian coffee house, one of the best places, in my opinion, I mean I am in love with Indian coffee house. I frequently visit the one in Delhi. After that, we again started to stroll around the streets and bumped into 7. Tela bhaja, we tried Benguni bhaja, Singhara (Samosa), Aloo Chop, Vegetable Chop, Vada, Chana daal ka dhokha, and that made us quite full. After that, we went to the Hoggs market in the esplanade. There we went to the most famous and oldest Irani bakery in Kolkata 8. Nahoum's, bakery with reasonable rates if you compare with flurys. But flurys is a different experience altogether. We had Cheese patty, cream roll, Rum ball and almond pastry in Nahoum's. You will find so much in there. After that, we went to 9. Balaram Mullick sweet shop, another famous sweet shop in Kolkata. You can try anything there and you won't regret it. if you go in winters do try gur roshogulla. That brought to the end of the day and then we went to the Tiriti bazar the next morning and started our day with 10. Poori bhaji and then we went to princep ghat to take that morning view and then we went to 11. Fairlie place to have Luchi, Alu bhaji and Jalebi, after that we came back to park street and tried 12. 100 gm Parantha, yes you heard it right :P , after that we had moong dal chilla, Ghugni chat, Chanar jilip, Kalakand, Doi bora, and many more things. and then we went to 13.
