March 5 2004 Sorry, couldn't help myself with the naked gun scene. The NBA has always been the most talented NBA players earth has to offer, but not always the smartest. This game is a PERFECT example of this, with so many horrendous mental mistakes. Tracy McGrady is FARRRRR and away the best player on the court in this matchup between the Atlanta Hawks (20 wins, 42 losses) and the Orlando Magic (18 wins, 46 losses), finishing with 28 points and 7 assists. Ladies and gentleman, I present to you, the 03-04 Orlando Magic! Tracy McGrady Juwan Howard 23 year old Drew Gooden- third most points on the team per game is not something to be happy about as a ballclub. Deshawn Stevenson- only played in 26 games. Tyronn Lue- overpaid role player who got the bag from the Wizards for chasing around Allen Iverson in the 01 Finals. Good coach. Bravo Tyronn. Gordon Giricek- acquired from the Grizzlies with Gooden for Mike Miller. BAD TRADE. Keith Bogans- 25 MINUTES A GAME FOR THE SEASON- insert the naked gun clip. Andrew DeClercq Sean Rooks- black version of DeClercq-20 games. Steven Hunter- somehow a worse option than the above 2 names. 37 year old Rod Strickland- waived in March Pat Garrity- 2 games. And the who the f**k are you guys club members: Shammond Williams, Lee Nailon (a whopping 8 games), Donnell Harvey, Desmond Penigar (10 CAREER games), Derrick Dial (9 games), Britton Johnsen (are they finding these guys on the street?) Robert Archibald (44 career games), and Reece Gaines (guy that probably worked in the arena). AAAAANNNDDDDD... 19 year old Zaza Pachulia. Yep. Holy fucking smokes. This is how the Magic wound up with Dwight Howard with the first overall pick in the draft. Congraaaaaatuuuuulations.
