The Yorkshire Dales is beautiful at any time of the year but with the sun shining and clear skies the best can be seen from the mountain tops around. Tonight I am exploring the route up to Buckden Pike from Buckden, around to visit the Monument on the ridge and back around via Starbottom and then along the lovely riverside path to return to Buckden. This solo wild camp on the summit will be my first on the top of Buckden Pike and the sunset with the ideal springtime weather made the whole trip a most enjoyable experience. I have used my Hilleberg Akto for this trip again as it is relatively light and a trusted piece of gear. Please SUBSCRIBE to my channel and click the “LIKE” button too. Thanks for watching and, bye for now. Warren #Linleys #BuckdenPike #YorkshireDales Video Production notes: Photos and video captured on GoPro Hero 8. Video produced using FilmoraX. I step out for fun and my own personal enjoyment. What I do is at my own risk. I do not suggest anyone does what I do, the way I do it, where I go or anything else in my videos. I’m always mindful of my own safety and doing what is right with respect to the environment and others on the hills. If you watch my videos, please enjoy them as they are and don’t necessarily assume they are examples of excellent practice. I’m learning along the way too. As always, every fell-walker goes out on their route taking on responsibility for their own safety and wellbeing, accessing areas that are open to the public or asking for permission as necessary. I totally support the #LeaveNoTrace campaign and encourage everyone to follow that too. So, if you venture out, please respect the environment, be considerate to others along the route, stay safe, wear, carry and use the clothes and equipment that you need for your trek, have ample food and drink for the duration of your trek, navigate carefully and keep within the limitations of your fitness and abilities. Let others know where you plan to go and when you will return. Stay Safe. Enjoy!
