Glitch explanations are below :) Storage: By using the Wind Waker as you fall off of a ledge and then canceling it one frame before landing, the next “event” (talking to an npc, opening a chest, using the Wind Waker again, etc.) will be stored. If you pull out the Wind Waker when storage is active, camera lock is activated. Camera Lock: By using the Wind Waker while storage is active, the camera will be locked in front of Link as if you’re using the Wind Waker while you maintain full control of his movement. Superswim: With Camera Lock active, holding up in the water will cause Link to rapidly spin around every single frame. For every frame you spin around in the water, Link will gain -3 units of speed. Because Camera Lock forces the camera in front of Link, holding up will cause him to spin around since the camera position constantly updates to follow Link’s face. This makes him turn 180 degrees every single, thus gaining -3 units of speed every single frame which allows us to swim backwards at ridiculous speeds. Chest Storage: If you open a treasure chest while storage is active, the animation of opening the chest is “stored.” When you normally open a treasure chest, Link’s hitbox is temporarily shrunken so that the animation of opening it can play. This shrunken collision is normally fixed when you complete the animation, but by storing it, your collision remains shrunken until you enter a new area or void out. This lets you do things like climb at extremely steep walls or clip through them entirely. Double Storage: I didn’t really mention this one by name, but by talking to an npc (The King of Red Lions, in this video’s case), and then obtaining storage again with the npc dialogue on screen, you can “double” your storage for two distinct purposes. Storage can only be used for one glitch at a time, so doubling it allows us to use storage for two glitches simultaneously (in this case, to activate camera lock and chest storage).
