DIMENSIONS OF IMAGINATION Master Class with Arash Khakpour (آرش خاکپور)** Hosted by Moment Collectives January 30, 2026 — Montreal Proto Studio This video documents Dimensions of Imagination*, a Contact Improvisation master class led by **Arash Khakpour (@arashkhakpour8)* and hosted by *Moment Collectives* in Montreal. Curated by **Valerie Sabbah (@valeriesabbah)**, this workshop invited intermediate and advanced practitioners into a rigorous, perceptual exploration of agility, tactility, weight-sharing, and shared perception. Through conscious duetting, rolling point, yielding, anchoring, pressure modulation, and internal expansion, participants entered a physically demanding container rooted in attention, precision, and embodied intelligence. Arash Khakpour (آرش خاکپور) is a dancer, choreographer, and facilitator from Tehran, now based in the Coast Salish territories (colonially known as Vancouver, Canada). He is a member of the EDAM Contact Improvisation Ensemble and co-founder of *The Biting School* alongside his brother Aryo Khakpour.
