Rachel Brosnahan and Caitriona Balfe chat with “Extra” about their new espionage action-thriller “The Amateur.” Rachel spoke about how she and Rami Malek had crossed paths a lot over the years and being drawn to this project, which gives a fresh take to the genre with an unlikely hero. Caitriona reflected on the theme of revenge versus justice and the moral dilemma that Rami’s character faces as he sets out to avenge his wife’s death in a terrorist attack. Both women praised Rami, who is also producer on the movie, and how talented, thoughtful, and kind he is. Plus, Caitriona, who stars in “Outlander,” shared that she feels proud and very grateful ahead of the shows’ upcoming eighth and final season. “The Amateur” is out April 11.
