This GlowShift Gauges installation video will walk you through the process of installing a GlowShift 7 Color Series Diesel Gauge Package into a 1995-1998 6.5L Turbo Chevrolet or GMC C/K Full-Size Truck. Get this diesel set here: https://goo.gl/42EJFt This Chevy/GMC Gauge Package install video shows you how to install our Boost Gauge, Fuel Pressure Gauge, Trans Temp Gauge, and EGT Pyrometer Gauge. Also included is GlowShift’s Black Triple Pillar Gauge Pod created specifically for the factory A-pillar of any 1995-1998 6.5L Turbo C/K Full-Size Truck. We chose this set of Chevy gauges and GMC gauges based on feedback from our Tech Team, who recommended this pod and gauge set as the optimal fit for the 95-98 6.5L Turbo Diesel C/K. We start with two options for installing the Boost Line for the Diesel Boost Gauge. The first shows how to install our Boost Bolt Adapter into the Intake Manifold and then run the Boost Line to it. And if you don’t have our Boost Gauge Adapter, we show you how to install directly to the Intake Manifold using the available Boost Gauge Fitting. If your gauge package includes a Fuel Pressure Gauge, our installation demonstrates how we thread the Electronic Fuel Pressure Sensor into the Fuel Pressure Gauge Adapter and then install it into the Fuel Filter Housing. For packages that have a Transmission Temperature Gauge, we rotate the shift assembly to gain access to the 4L80 Transmission Test Port and remove the Transmission Test Port Plug. Once this is accomplished, we place the Electronic Transmission Temperature Sensor directly into the Test Port. We install the EGT Probe for the EGT Gauge by removing the front passenger side wheel and wheel well liner to gain access so that we can drill and tap the Exhaust Manifold. Then we install the EGT Probe Sensor Adapter into the Exhaust Manifold and thread in the probe. Once all of the sensors have been installed, the sensor wires and boost line are run to the driver’s side firewall, keeping clear of any moving parts, and then into the truck’s cabin. After selecting 3 of the gauges and adding them to the Triple Pillar Pod, we proceed to install the pod which mounts to the factory A-pillar while also making all necessary wire connections. This video will walk you through every detail of this process step-by-step and provide a complete breakdown of everything needed to install our Full-Size C/K Truck gauges and pod.
