In this segment I'm sharing my favorite Bible Verse of all time, and why. Matthew 6:25 Those who know me realize I take this verse perhaps a bit too literal as I try to always see the most positive of outcomes even in the darkest of situations. To me, the cup is not only half full (rather than half empty), it's overflowing! This may come across as showing a lack of empathy when that is furthest from the truth. There's no way we can control external forces way beyond our control (climate change, politics, bad people, etc...) So why worry about what we cannot control. Let's leave that for God to take care of and take care of what we do have control over; our mind and our soul! As I explain, there's a difference between "worrying" about a situation and doing something about it. As Christians, we do believe in miracles and have probably been witnesses to many ourselves. Who are we to doubt what God can do. Sometimes God does what we thought was impossible and without any effort on our part. Some say 'worry' comes from the devil. I'm not sure about that but one thing for sure is it will sap our energy and cause depression and anxiety. Let's stop worrying and be more grateful and prayerful.
