Soft And Delicious Orange Cookies Made With Orange Juice! My mom made these delicious cookies every holiday season along with other cookie recipes throughout the years and I thought to share these with you! You can double this recipe too. Once these cookies are made the flavor keeps improving with each passing day. They store well and travel well too! They're very easy to make and I guarantee they won't last long once you try the first one! Peace Love And Tasty Eats! Glazed Orange Juice Cookies 3 1/2 cups flour 3 teaspoons baking powder 2 eggs 3/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon orange extract (if not available, use lemon extract) 3/4 cup oil Oven 350 degrees F Bake 15-20 minutes or until firm and base of cookies are light to medium golden brown Yields approximately 4 dozen cookies Glaze 1 cup powdered sugar 2 tablespoons orange juice 1/2 tablespoon melted butter 1/2 tablespoon grated orange rind If glaze is too thin once mixed, add more powdered sugar, a tablespoon at a time. If icing is too thick, add more orange juice, a tablespoon at a time. To decorate, you can sprinkle a little more orange zest on top of the cookies while the glaze is still wet. Enjoy!
