As one of the least expensive and popular 4K webcams, we'll put the EMEET NOVA 4K to the test to see if it's any good - or if you should skip it and do something else. It was $59.99 on Amazon at the time of purchase with a 30% (or $18) coupon. This video was filmed and edited at 4K, except for the main Sony camera, which was filmed at 1080P 60FPS and stretched to fit the canvas. This was done so that you can see the vast image improvements that every 4K camera has compared to 1080P cameras, with four times the pixel count. The EMEET NOVA 4K was inspired by the design and look of the Logitech BRIO 4K, which since 2017 has been one of the best 4K webcams on the market, especially when it comes to image sharpness and clarity. Compared to the BRIO's 90° field of view, the NOVA 4K has a 73° field of view. The Logitech BRIO 4K also has support for Windows Hello infrared-based biometric login, whereas the EMEET NOVA 4K does not, and the BRIO has a 7 foot long (~2m) detachable USB-C to USB-A cable, whereas the EMEET uses a fixed 3.5 foot (~1m) USB-A cable. Neither camera manufacturer states the sensor size in their documentation, but the EMEET NOVA 4K performs like a smaller sensor. Of course, many of these things are expected, given the lower price point of the EMEET NOVA 4K and the real test is how accurate the image is by default in good lighting, tuned settings in good lighting, and how well it performs in low light.
