On January 18th 2025, North Yorkshire Independent Operator Reliance Motor Services ceased commercial operations, after 94 years of service, selling most of it's vehicles, routes, and staff to Transdev York. On the final day, I travelled across their entire network, Enjoying what the company has to offer for the first (and likely last) time. This Volvo B8RLE MCV Evora was one of two new to the company in July 2022, as part of a major modernisation effort of Reliance's single decker fleet. It passed to Transdev York with the sale of the operator, and has yet to stray away from it's former routes under Reliance at the time this video is published.
