The Stability Of A Homebuilt Regen - The WBR

Rigid physical construction is important for a homebrew regen receiver. This short video shows how stable this build of the WBR Regen Receiver is. I could have made it more impervious to sharp knocks by using nylon screws and washers to firmly hold the toroid above the board, but depending on the exact material used, this could have introduced some drift into the circuit. I chose instead to wind the toroid with relatively stiff 22 gauge wire and make it self-supporting.
