Kilpailu käytiin "Suomen suurimmassa torikokouksessa" Kiuruvedellä 21.4.2022. Tilaisuuden juontaa Kari Saastamoinen. Tuomarineuvostossa Reijo Glad (Radio Sandels), Juha Saastamoinen (Kiuruvesi Lehti) ja Tommi Tikka (Kiuruveden kaupunki). Torilla Juha Mietoa haastattelee Kiuruvesi Lehden päätoimittaja Jaana Selander. Juha Mieto is a Finnish skiing legend. Mieto won five Olympic medals, including a gold medal. He made sporting history with silver in Lake Placid 1980, when he was beaten by one-hundredth of a second in the 15 km event. It was closest-ever margin of victory in Olympic cross-country skiing. Mieto was also successful in World Cup cross-country skiing, winning in 1975-76 and 1979-80, placing second in 1973-74 and 1976-77, and third in 1974-75. His biggest success as a cross-country skier was at the Holmenkollen ski festival where he won the 50 km once (1973) and the 15 km five times. After his sporting career Mieto worked in public relations for several organizations. In 2007 Mieto was elected to the Finnish Parliament with 13,768 votes; which was the seventh highest vote total in all of Finland. Mämmi is a traditional Finnish dessert, eaten around Easter. It is a dark-brown porridge-like dish with a thick but smooth consistency. Mämmi is made of water, rye flour, powdered malted rye, salt, and dried powdered orange peel. Mämmi is a dark, weird-looking rye dessert. Its dark brown color has nothing to do with chocolate or cocoa. Mämmi has an exceptional taste; some people like it, and some can't stand the taste. It might look questionable, but it tastes good, especially served with milk and sugar. Kiuruvesi is a lively countryside town located in eastern Finland. The municipality has a population of 7,800. Kiuruvesi is one of the biggest producers of milk and beef in Finland. The other main fields of industry are forestry and metal.
