Clinical Case: Female patient, 88 years old, non-smoker, caucasian. Anamnesis: The patient had no respiratory complaints, but was being monitored for a subsolid (pure ground glass) pulmonary nodule in segment 6 on the left, which grew from 13 mm in diameter to 20 mm over a period of 5 years, and it had slight retraction of the fissure. Comorbidades: the patient had arterial hypertension controlled with candesartan 16 mg/day, with no other comorbidities. Normal physical examination: BMI = 24,6kg/m2; ASA = 2; PS = 0. Preoperative workup that include spirometry, echocardiogram, cranial magnetic resonance imaging and abdominal ultrasound was normal. Clinical diagnosis: Subsolid (pure ground glass) pulmonary nodule (segment 6 on the left), 20 mm.
