Yes, the video is still available globally—but if you’re in South Africa, you won’t be able to see it. Unless… you follow the links below. 👇 🎥 Watch the original (banned) video here: Too White for Help? The Orphanage Woolworths Allegedly Ignored • Too White for Help? The episode, titled “Too White for Help? The Orphanage Woolworths Allegedly Ignored”, explored shocking claims from a credible source: that a rural orphanage was cut off from food donations by Woolworths because the children “weren’t black enough” to qualify under B-BBEE policy. I presented: ✔️ A timeline of the orphanage’s relationship with Woolworths ✔️ An eyewitness email from a trusted source ✔️ Woolworths’ and News24’s public denials ✔️ A breakdown of how South Africa’s Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) framework may be influencing which charities receive support I never presented this as proven fact. I said clearly and repeatedly: these are allegations. I included denials. I anonymized the orphanage to protect the vulnerable. I offered Woolworths an open invitation to respond. This was not defamation. This was not hate speech. This was journalism. ⸻ ⚖️ Here’s why I believe the ban is wrong: 📌 Section 16 of the South African Constitution protects: • Freedom of expression • Freedom of the press • Freedom to receive and impart information 📌 South African defamation law protects: • Fair comment on matters of public interest • Opinion and satire based on reasonably believed facts • Responsible journalism, even when it’s critical or uncomfortable 📌 YouTube’s own guidelines protect journalistic content—especially when it’s labeled clearly, balanced with denials, and framed around public policy (as this was). I made every effort to handle the topic with sensitivity and accuracy. And I stand by what I said: no child should go hungry because of race. ⸻ 🧩 So who filed the complaint? That’s the mystery. Was it Woolworths themselves? Someone acting on their behalf? A fan who didn’t like what I said? I don’t know. But what I do know is this: someone didn’t like the questions I asked. Instead of engaging, instead of coming on my show to clarify things—they had the video silenced. This doesn’t look like transparency. This looks like damage control. And yes—YouTube made the final decision. But I don’t blame them. They’re caught between creators and local legal systems, and they likely acted cautiously. I understand that. Still… that doesn’t make it right. ⸻ 📣 So what now? I’m not backing down. If you want to see the video they don’t want you to see, you still can. 🔗 Watch it on X, Facebook, or TikTok – links are at the top. 📢 SHARE this video if you believe in freedom of speech. 🎤 TAG Woolworths or News24 if you think they should respond publicly. 💬 Leave a comment below: Do you think B-BBEE policies are causing unintended harm? #Censored #SouthAfrica #Woolworths #Newsflash #JoeEmilio #BEE #Charity #FoodJustice #WhiteOrphans #FreedomOfSpeech #YouTubeBan #News24 #MediaBias #BroadBasedBlackEconomicEmpowerment #TruthMatters #OrphanageScandal
