HC-05 AT COMMANDS MODE HC-05 is a cheap and famous module for any electronics and DIY project. This module can act as both master and slave. You just need to power it up and it can be paired easily to any Bluetooth device. There are many variants available in the market and when it comes to configure any of the setting of this module it is hard, at least in my case I had to struggle a lot to put this module in AT commands mode. There are many ways to configure this module and one of method I verified and posting it here. Please try and let me know it it works for you or not. This method only applicable to HC-05. It might not work with HC-06. In this method we will need Arduino UNO. REQUIRED THINGS: Arduino UNO HC-05 module Jumper wires UNO - HC-05 CONNECTION: UNO 5V - HC-05 5V UNO GND - HC-05 GND UNO PIN 3 - HC-05 TX UNO PIN 4 - HC-05 RX METHOD TO ACTIVATE AT COMMAND MODE: By default in normal mode when module gets power and it is not paired to any device red LED on the module will blink rapidly. To activate AT commands mode you must keep pressing small button of module before powering it up. The red LED of module will blink at 2 secs interval. FINAL ASSEMBLY: 1. Connect HC-05 to the Arduino UNO as per above order 2. Connect Arduino UNO to USB port using cable. 3. Flash sketch to the Arduino UNO. If you get an error while uploading sketch remove power cables of HC-05 temporarily. Once sketch uploaded to the board reconnect the cables. 4. Now unplug USB cable and press and hold small button of HC-05 and plug the USB cable again. You will see LED will blink slowly (2sec interval). See video for more clarity of normal and AT commands mode LED blink pattern. 5. Now open serial monitor and ensure baudrate set to 9600 and Both NL & CR selected. Now type AT to make sure module is responding. 6. Change settings as per your likings. DOWNLOAD: Arduino sketch https://drive.google.com/open?id=1qwc...
