Hanna Alberta Canada. I went out for a smoke about mid August 2015 about an hour or so before sunset. This thing was in the sky where there ought not to be anything at all celestial. It was far too bright outside for stars or planets to be visible. It appears to both emit its own light and reflect the setting sun. It remained for more than one hour, and never changed its' orientation. Filmed facing northeast, never saw it leave, after about an hour screwing around with a really flimsy tripod to get some good zoomed images (at 200x magnification) I called it a night. Saw a lot of strange goings on up there over the last two and a half years, satellite looking things that are too fast and too bright and change directions, definitely not planes, they sometimes flare up bright when watching their motion. Similar objects like this one filmed have been seen by me and my family and in-laws looking about 2x-3x size of Jupiter, very bright, from west horizon to east horizon in roughly 5-7 minutes with zero difference in brightness from any angle, as if entire surface emitted the same amount of light. Eyes up folks, interesting times.
