White five inch stilettos and super-wide-leg wet-look rubber trousers

Remember the wet look rubber flares I found in River Island? Whilst I was searching for wet-look flares I saw these on Missguided, not flares but wide leg in a wet-look rubber. I bought them because I thought they might make an interesting 70's look with some platforms and a flouncy top, which is what I've styled them with here. What do you think? The trousers are VERY wide! I'm not sure I like the look after all, I think they make me look very fat. (Yes alright, I AM fat but but these emphasise it!) I like the shiny texture of the material though. Should I get my sewing machine out and narrow them in the thighs to make then into flares, do you think? They might be more flattering. The white platforms are from Ego shoes. I do love platform stilettos! These are nice and high at five inches, but they are pretty comfortable and easy to walk in thanks to the platforms an inch thick. But next time I wear this outfit I'll put on my white belt and shoulder bag instead of the black, I think it will look better co-ordinated. I was shopping for some mirrors for my dance studio. Didn't find what I wanted, but a good opportunity to get a good look at how this outfit suited me (or not!)! What do you think? Write a comment below, be honest about whether you like this or not!
