Everybody talks about the new Hero 7, how great it is, the gimbal killer, the perfect vlogging camera, and so on. I will agree with most of these statements, but what about if you already have Hero 5, do you really need to change it? Well, the answer is yes, and no! In this video, I will tell you what I think about it. Well…if your budget is unlimited buy them both or ten more, but if you plan to upgrade and the price is still a problem, watch this video carefully until the end because it might help you to save some money. Because I was curious, as most of you I bought the new Hero 7. I use it mostly as my walk around camera, to shoot when I am not on the bike. For helmet camera I used Contour. As you already know Contour bankrupt and I need to switch to GoPro. For that purpose, I use GoPro Hero 5, instead of GoproHero 7, for one very specific reason and I will talk about it a bit later. Anyway, I was curious to see what is the difference between Hero 5 and Hero 7 as a helmet camera. So what I did is to record the same situation twice, once with Hero 5 and once with Hero 7.
