New Ferrari 12Cilindri Track Test: Spider vs Coupe With Tiff Needell

Vicki Butler-Henderson is joined by Tiff Needell to drive Ferrari’s latest V12 grand tourer, the Ferrari 12Cilindri, tested in both Spider and Coupe form. Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5 litre V12 producing 830hp, it replaces the 812 Superfast and keeps Ferrari’s front-engined V12 formula alive, with no hybrid assistance. On track, Vicki and Tiff explore how the 12Cilindri delivers its performance, how it compares with previous V12 Ferraris, and how the Spider and Coupe differ in feel. There’s speed, commitment and, inevitably, a few slides as they push both cars to see where the limits really are. The 12Cilindri runs on Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tyres, developed in collaboration with Ferrari to handle its power and balance, with the Pilot Alpin 5 available for colder conditions where grip really matters.
