Double-end decoiler made by Brother Union Machinery This double-head uncoiler is designed/produced for an automotive parts manufacturer in 2021. The double-head hydraulic uncoiler is designed to minimize coil loading time. When one head is uncoiling the coil, the operators load the second head with the steel coil and make it ready to run. Once the coil in the first head runs out, the operator controls the uncoiler rotates by 180 degrees and feeds the second coil into the roll forming line. In this way, the roll forming line runs continuously with minimum downtime. The decoiler's main mandrels expand or contract by hydraulic cylinder driving, and it equips the press arm to press down the steel coil. The mandrel rotates driving by the motor and the Pneumatic driving clutch controls the mandrel rotating or not. The uncoiler is able to move on the tracks horizontally automatically, the operator may control the coil to align to the roll forming line.
