Detroit Hydraulic Elevators @ Kresge Library, Oakland University (retake)

It's hard to think of many generic elevators that are as interesting as these. They have an odd history, to start, as I'm not sure whether these are a modernization, a complete replacement of the library's original elevators, or both: the right cab's serial number identifies it as an early 1960s install, while the one on the left cab is more in line with the late '80s. The two cabs have minute differences on the interior, as well as very different motors, though both are pleasant to listen to. Their buttons are common stock Adams Survivor Plus, but paired with unique analog position indicators, and Innovation lanterns. Installed: c.1961 / 1989 Michigan serial number: 9693 / 24838
